We believe that parents and teachers should work in partnership to provide the best possible start for each and every child. We are committed to developing a close collaboration with parents. A close parent-school partnership ensures that children will receive proper care and support both at home and at school. Parents’ talks will be held throughout the school year to introduce the school’s curriculum and other topics of interest. Parents are also welcome to meet with teachers one-on-one to discuss their child’s progress at school.
St. Catherine’s is proud to have a well-established parent-school program. Our Home-school cooperation team consists of parent volunteers who are responsible for contributing to our school newsletter, making teaching aids, assisting students getting on and off the nanny bus, producing fun game booths for special events, etc. We invite parents to join our parent volunteer team to participate and assist in outdoor visits to the fire station, museums, etc. Parents are also encouraged to actively involve in class activities such as the Book Reading Scheme, picnics and other school outings.
