In order to support our philosophy, children’s learning is based on
an activity approach. By providing interesting activities we are able to
facilitate children’s ability to learn through hands-on real-life
experiences.
Using
a Topic and Project approach, children build their knowledge and skills
through interactive activities in the classroom. Dramatic play is an
integral component of the curriculum and is a very powerful tool for
learning.
Where
possible we allow children to learn through first hand educational visits
to places such as the Ocean Park, the Brighter Smiles Playland, the Heritage Museum and many other interesting
places.
Children
are exposed to the natural world through our wonderful outdoor area where
they can observe plant life first hand.
Information Technology is becoming an
important part of our life nowadays and children also learn through
computer interactive programmes.
